How this planner works
Build a week around the time you really have.
The planner validates your selected provider and level goal, then turns your exam date and weekly hours into a capacity snapshot with a provider-aware skill split. It helps you organise practice; it does not estimate the hours needed to pass or replace official exam guidance.
How the snapshot is built
1
Count the calendar
We count the calendar days until your exam date and round up to calendar weeks for display. Available hours use exact days ÷ 7 × weekly hours, rounded to one decimal.
2
Split time by exam family
Reading, listening, writing, speaking, and error review receive a provider-aware starting allocation, rounded to five-minute blocks.
3
Adjust with evidence
The first plan is a starting point. Use timed practice and mistakes to move more time toward the skill that needs it in later weeks.
Supported exams and levels
Select the exam family you are preparing for. Your current level is A1–C2; the target level must fit the provider.
Providers
Goethe-Zertifikat, telc Deutsch, TestDaF, and ÖSD.
Target levels
Goethe, telc, and ÖSD: A2–C2. TestDaF: B2–C1.
Current level
A1–C2 is accepted as your starting estimate, including when it differs from the target.
What the plan can tell you
It describes
Your calendar capacity, pace signal, and a practical weekly skill split based on your inputs.
It does not measure
Your German ability, current exam readiness, or probability of passing. Provider, level, date, and hours change the snapshot; practice results do not rewrite it automatically.
Planner FAQs
Does the plan predict how many hours I need to pass?
No. It reports the time available before your date; it does not turn hours into a promised level change or pass result.
Does the split copy official exam weighting?
No. It is a practical Lingogrind starting allocation that varies by exam family, not an official provider weighting.
What should I do after the first week?
Compare timed practice and error patterns, then rebalance the following week toward the weakest exam skill.
